I welcome you all to Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Arts and Commerce College, Indore. It’s the only Government College in Indore Division which received the most prestigious NAAC rating with ‘A’ Grade in 2014 with great efforts of the Teaching, Non-Teaching staff, our Alumni, and our dear students. I am really proud to say that our College has grown in size and strength and today stands tall with 8500 young and dynamic students to transform their dreams into reality. As always the college continually strives to provide an accessible, affordable and high quality education to all Students offering any of its courses. Our teachers attempt to provide innovative instruction in a climate of intellectual growth in a broad range of disciplines.

We understand the challenges that are in store for students. Our mission is to support students in meeting the challenges they face, and to help them reach their goals. As an educator, I know how important it is to choose the right Institute for your child. Parents who select this college can have confidence that we will strive to guide their children in making wise decisions so that, after their studies here, they will gain admission to and become successful graduates of a GACC.

We provide a rich learning environment at GACC where all teachers focus on course contents and take every opportunity to help students gain knowledge and understanding of the concepts. The college fosters students’ skills and teaches them to solve problems independently and to work co-operatively with others. As always the college continually strives to provide an accessible, affordable and high quality education to all students offering any of its courses.

Our teachers attempt to provide innovative instruction in a climate of intellectual growth in a broad range of disciplines. As can be seen on this site, the college has got courses in arts, commerce, with different subjects, along with postgraduate courses in different subjects. Our message to the students is that they are expected to not only gain knowledge for their own careers but also for the benefit of the culture of their Region, State and the Nation. The teachers and the supporting staff have only the welfare of the students in mind but they expect an academic attitude and proper conduct from them not only in the campus but also outside to ensure the dignified name of the college.

So with the expectation that the students admitted to this college, shall be in healthy interaction with fellow students, and respectful to the teachers and other staff, we hope the college would be providing a memorable experience of learning and sharing that may be beneficial for life.
